William Maud Bryant earned the Medal of Honor posthumously in Vietnam for his determined and courageous leadership, leading a small South Vietnamese force against a much larger NVA unit in 34 hours of sustained combat. Honor and remember him!

March 19 Donald Gary Medal of Honor

Donald Gary received the Medal of Honor for his heroic leadership on this day in 1945, when the USS Franklin was hit by Japanese bombs. Gary saved over 300 sailors, who were trapped below decks, returning time and again to the smoke shrouded compartments.

March 19 William McGee Medal of Honor

William McGee earned the Medal of Honor posthumously in Germany, when he volunteered to rescue two wounded soldiers trapped in a minefield. He was seriously wounded when he returned to aid the second man, after rescuing the initial American, but he refused to let any other Americans enter the minefield. Honor and remember him!
